SONG: Softly Singing Simon

Listen to the song

He stops for the little ones
to grab fruit out of reach
He smiles at them gently then heads for the trees

He scouts out a lonely spot
Behind tendrils and leaves
The sunlight melts into the blossoming breeze

Softly singing Simon
Quietly thinking alone
Softly singing Simon
Watching the evening unfold

When the boys start to lose their cool
When there's an absence of rules
He will offer his wisdom to the group

Some say there's a beast around
Simon don't disagree
He says, "Maybe there is..."
"Maybe it's you and me."

Softly singing Simon
Most of his thoughts are unknown
Softly thinking Simon
Watching the madness unfold

I really like this part "Johnny Student." It shows that maybe their is a monster beast. Or maybe they are the beast, like they should really be afraid each other. Like jack attacking piggy, which has done more damage then this so called "beastie"

i hope you read this comment

Mr. Shaddox,
The song is amazing! I wish I could play the guitar like that. Your song really describes how Simon thinks and act on the island. Great Work!!!
